We have created and aquired a number of applications for the PC. Each product has a seperate page here within ths section of our website.
In some cases the product will also have it's own custom website and support system - such as with Elementary reports.
Usually we provide free product updates and support for the software.
Why free updates?
Some companies hold back all their fixes, updates and improvements and release a yearly update that customers have to pay for, they usually call it a "maintenance fee" and it can be quite expensive.
We think this is completely unfair - when you buy something you shouldn't be held to ransom at then end of each year, forced to buy an update that fixes things that
shouldn't have been broken in the first place.
In our opinion, updates should be released for free and soon as they are ready.
Bespoke programming
Large software companies widely known in the UK and all over the world offer a wide range of software products for all categories of consumers.
But sometimes all this software fails to satisfy the needs of a specific customer, who wants something special to promote his or her business.
Computing Data offers unique solutions that cannot be provided by the international software market.
We often supply computer "utility" programs with our website solutions because they can provide speed and functionality not currently possible with normal administrator area on the site.
With bespoke software, please be aware that we retain all rights to the software, it's data and the source code.
At no time would you "own" the software in any way - you would only have a licence to use the software.
If we feel that the software would have wider appeal, then we may market the software as we see fit.
If this happens, in virtually all cases, you would benefit from greater resources being invested by us in the product at no more cost to you.
Please note that with bespoke programming, if you require changes or customisation, that it does not fall within our "updates are free" policy
- you would be charged for the time taken to do the modification.
